Week 9

This week, I continued doing some marketing research for Jim on a site called Taboola. Taboola helps with marketing to new audiences by posting articles about Industolutions on major publication sites and recommending the articles to certain readers. After doing research on it, I think it is a very impressive tool, however it can be hard to tell if it would be useful to Industolutions specifically. Jim plans to contact Brafton to find out more information as well as their input.

On Thursday, Jim and I sat down together to watch the animation film and review each feedback he got from his friends and previous coworkers. Their comments were very helpful and specific, as well as a lot of compliments. I was able to give Jim some suggestions of my own as well which he took into account and will be in touch with Brafton to go over our comments and suggestions. I told Jim that I really enjoy reviewing the film and I appreciate that he listens to my thoughts and takes them seriously.

On Friday, Jim showed me his investor presentation, which he had just completed. I have never seen an investor presentation and I was impressed with how much was put into it and how specific his requirements were. Jim was very helpful to send me the presentation for my future reference in my studies as well as my future career. I was able to learn a lot about the format of the presentations and what points to state and how to share them. I enjoy seeing Jim's presentations to his investors because I am able to learn about how they are done as well as where the company is currently standing.
