This week, Jim allowed me to sit in on a call he had with one of our potential influencer marketing agency, Vazoola. We talked with one of their CEOs who was very friendly and willing to learn about Industolutions and why Jim decided to create it in the first place. He seemed very intrigued with Jim’s presentations and believed he could match us with a blogger for the business. Jim also explained to him that having a company with solutions in almost every industry is a “blessing and a curse” at the same time. This is because the blogger would have to know a lot about each industry and the solutions and major issues that occur in them. However, it is also good that his site has every industry, therefore it will be useful to almost any user and we would get a larger variety of users. The Vazoola CEO understood Jim’s concerns and if we do decide to work with them, he will take that into account for when we are matched with a blogger. I was happy to help Jim in researching infuencer marketing companies because now that he is really considering it for Industolutions, I realized how important my job was for him and how much he appreciates and makes use of my research for him. I was also glad that he allowed me to overhear his phone conversation with the CEO of Vazoola because I felt even more involved in the marketing for Insudustolutions.
Jim always tells me that I came into his company at a perfect time because marketing is one of the major focuses for the company right now. Now that the website is created, the main focus that Jim is working on right now is getting the message about Industolutions out. He is currently working on posting on Linkedin and he realized the power of it. Ever since posting on his personal Linkedin page, he noticed he got a significant amount of new users on Industolutions and more than a thousand views of the ad. I had no idea Linkedin was so effective when it came to marketing, especially for start-up companies.
